Production Supervisor-Debugging/Testing

As Production Supervisor you are responsible for supporting in achievement of RTS by effective and EHS compliant utilization of available contract associates. You are also responsible for ensuring zero defects/rejection while line/outgoing quality checks. The below roles & responsibilities are indicative of the expectations of GreyOrange from your job role. However, your impact on the organization and hence the responsibilities evolve over time and hence the below are not exhaustive or limiting your position at any point.

Requirement: 

A) RTS and customer satisfaction related:

  1.  Coordinating with tech/validation team on software issues or bugs.
  2. Helping installation or customer support teams on troubleshooting issues on site through teleconferencing.
  3. Debugging issues on failures of floor tests/barcode testing/Main line etc.
  4. Completing Daily/Weekly/Monthly Production targets based on RTS plan and ensuring on time delivery.
  5. Coordinating with tech/validation team on software issues or bugs during bot testing.
  6. Helping installation or customer support teams on troubleshooting issues on site through teleconferencing.
  7. Completing Daily/Weekly/Monthly Production targets based on RTS plan and ensuring on time delivery.

B) Production related

  1. Reading drawings and guiding technicians on different steps and connections etc.
  2. Support Shift In charge in continuously monitoring and improving productivity and objectively reduce manpower.
  3. Support Shift In charge in reducing consumption of consumable items.
  4. Assisting the main line/sub assy in charge when there is no troubleshooting going on
  5. Support Shift In charge in maintaining and continuously improving cycle time for each Bot, thus reducing overall throughput time
  6. Sharing all issues in required format for purpose of creating MIS/records for future reference.
  7. Running all required bots for 5000 barcodes or more as per instruction with the required testing script/standard provided by ME.
  8. Observing closely Bot operation on testing floor and reporting discrepancies immediately.
  9. Liase with different departments like Tech/it /Server team etc. to resolve issues in D3 Map/script/network/server/Grefana etc.
  10. Assisting the main line/Sub Assy and shift in-charge when there is no testing load.
  11. Support Shift In charge in maintaining and continuously improving cycle time, thus reducing overallthroughput time, Train Technicians on Bot testing to act as a back-up when required.

C) Process compliance related

  1. Ensure that during troubleshooting/debugging of parts/sub-assemblies/Bots no process breach is done and standards are followed.
  2. Ensuring all bots follow the test script and are tested with/without load on MSU, ADK charging to be ensured etc.

D) Quality related

  1. Ensure the product available after troubleshooting qualifies all quality parameters and checks.
  2. Work with OQC to complete all process checks and handover product for final testing.

E) Best Practices

  1. Doing Kaizen and encouraging it at technician level also.
  2. Maintaining 5s on the line.
  3. Doing Kaizen and encouraging it at technician level also.
  4. Maintain 5s and sanity of testing floor for 1.5/2.0/2.1 and XL.

F) Safety

  1. Ensuring to wearing required ESD protective clothing, safety shoes etc.
  2. Ensuring all required safety rules and regulations of GFC are followed to the core.

Responsibilities:
- B. tech. (Any branch) with min. 2 yrs. of exp. in debugging & Testing OR related task.
