UI/UX Front-end Developer

The successful candidate will be the one who is passionate about user experience and application interfaces and is keen to perform in fast paced development organization. S/he will be a part of the highly talented team building both our products, Butler and Sorter. The role requires closely working with the designers to execute the emerging designs and ensure that the feasibility and usability of the product are enhanced further.

Furthermore, s/he should be familiar with fast growing companies and the associated deadlines and high-energy culture that go along with launching new products.

    • Create administrative panels for data visualization and interact with the system using backend APIs
    • Build user interface for our warehouse automation products, Butler and Sorter Systems
    • Create dashboards with exception handling
    • Develop Responsive Applications
    • Be able to write production quality code independently without multiple iterations
    • Take overall responsibility for understanding a customer’s requirement and converting that into appealing, highly usable interfaces
    • Bachelor’s degree in CS Engineering or a related degree, or the equivalent in education and experience
    • Demonstrate expertise in DHTML (HTML, Javascript, and CSS)
    • Experience in developing web applications on JS libraries like jQuery, AngularJS/Backbone/ Meteor/ DOJO, YUI, Backbone, SVG
    • 0-3 years' experience in RESTful api services including JSON, XML, and SOAP
    • Experience in developing real time web applications is a plus
    • Experience in at least 1 non-trivial Javascript project (i.e, other than website design) is preferred
    • Must have worked extensively on developing responsive/adaptive layouts for multiple browsers and platforms, including desktop, tablet and mobile
    • Working knowledge of Photoshop/Illustrator or other design programs is a plus
    • Must have experience working with Bootstrap or Foundation
    • Zeal to build exciting applications which delight the user's in-terms of user experience and performance
