Product Manager (Software)

As a member of GreyOrange's product management team, you will be defining GreyOrange's future software product strategies for controlling automation operations in warehouses. The successful candidate will be able to deep-dive into technology and business aspects. S/he will ideally have both a strong background in industrial software product management and planning, combined with strong business acumen, allowing the candidate to provide deep analysis on new technologies and architectures. S/he will work with teams across Engineering, Planning, Operations, Sales, Marketing, and Finance. You connect the business with the technical team and work closely with our engineers to guide products from conception to launch. Candidates should have a proven track record defining complex and cross-functional products and product strategies.

    • Build the product strategy and road map in line with our goals and strategies
    • Work closely with other functions to identify pain-points that can be addressed through technology
    • Initiate and prioritize projects, and assist in determining the best implementation methods
    • Evaluate complex systems, design solutions and work with engineering to implement solutions
    • Own all aspects of the product from conception and drive it through development testing
    • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (preferably, Computer Science), Master's Degree / MBA preferred
    • 6+ years of experience as a Technical Product Manager or Product Marketing Manager, preferably in embedded or system software solutions
    • A vision for the future of supply chain and decision science systems and stay current with the latest technologies
    • Experience in automating warehouse management
    • To be successful in this position, candidate must be able to define requirements for software algorithms that help achieve business metrics
    • Experience in software product lifecycle management
    • Strong communication, execution, quantitative skills combined with creativity and negotiation skills, ability to interact with cross-functional and international teams
