As the leader of the Engineering team at GreyOrange, you will own the core of what GreyOrange stands for - building great hardware and software products. You will be responsible for Quality delivery of products built on cutting-technology across customer industries and geographies. You will co-own the vision for existing and new products along with VP Products and drive them to execution using great talent, technology and culture.
Responsibilities:
- Own the execution of Product Development Lifecycle in GreyOrange for R&D deliverables
- Lead the development of current and new products across hardware and software engineering teams in-line with understanding of customer needs
- Ensure Quality deliverables for products as per global standards within the committed timelines and budget
- Enable a great Engineering culture with the right people, processes and innovation
- Nurture and manage an extraordinary Engineering team of 250+ employees in a multi-disciplinary environment of Software, Mechanical, Embedded, Electrical & Electronics Engineering development and validation teams
- Be an inspirational colleague for CTO, VP Products, VP Operations, Engineering managers and Quality teams
- Support GreyOrange's leadership team and build a great organization with the right product engine, brand, and culture
Requirements:
- B.E/B.Tech and Masters degrees from top tier university
- 15+ years of overall experience - significant experience in building complex products as an Engineer, Manager and Leader
- 10+ years of people management experience with 70+ employee teams indirectly. Experience of managing a team of Engineering Managers, Technical Architects, Subject Matter Experts and Engineers for product development
- Experience with a large Enterprise Software Development organization
- Experience of co-creating vision and owning the execution of existing and new products (both hardware and software products is a plus ) in the past
- International exposure via significant working experience in USA
- Executive presence to contribute to C-level discussions and decisions
