Samay’s passion for Robotics started about a decade ago. He was part of the team that created one of India’s first indigenous humanoid robots – AcYut. Samay, along with Akash Gupta, has participated in robotics competitions across 13 countries; winning Gold medal at the ROBOlympics in 2009. An alumnus of BITS (Pilani), India, Samay has been a keynote speaker at several prominent technology conferences around the world, and has been featured in many publications including Forbes Asia, Economic Times, The Fortune and has made his way to MIT Technology Review’s global list of “35 Innovators under 35”.
In recent years Samay has led the expansion of GreyOrange into Asia-Pacific, Europe and the Americas, and some of the biggest customer sites can be found in Japan, Latin America and USA.
Akash is the man behind the culture of innovation at GreyOrange. His key focus is driving research and development, pushing the efficiency benchmark, and hiring the best of talent globally for the company. He is the perfect combination of understanding mechanical as well as software engineering, which has helped the company create an R&D engine that continually produces cutting edge robotic products. He has led mentoring sessions and workshops at more than 25 educational institutions globally, including Stanford University, Louisiana University, MIT, IITs, IIIT. Akash is an alumnus of BITS Pilani, graduate in Mechanical Engineering. He has also undertaken projects such as the Design and Implementation of an active under water Sonar Stabilization System at the University of Louisiana; and RoboCup 2011-2012 as a part of the Chief Organizing Committee.
In 2018 Akash led the launch of new solutions in the Butler range; the Butler XL with a payload of 1600kg(3500lbs) and the Butler PickPal, an autonomous fulfilment picker to revolutionise order picking.

He comes with an extensive experience, having played different roles in Business and Financial Strategy for multinational companies such as Samsung Electronics, Wipro GE Healthcare, and General Electric. He has also featured in the list of Top 100 CFOs in India in 2013, published by the CFO Magazine. He is a Bachelors in commerce, holds an Associate’s degree from The Institute of Charted Accountants of India and Course on Advanced Corporate Finance from IIM – Ahmedabad.
Jeff Cashman, Senior Vice President and Global Chief Operations Officer at GreyOrange is responsible for shaping strategies to drive global customer acquisition, market penetration, revenue growth, marketing, solution delivery and customer success.
He leverages the deep supply chain technology expertise he has built over a career working with global enterprise customers to advance GreyOrange’s customer-first relationship strategy, build solid industry partnerships and attract first-class talent.
Cashman brings more than 30 years of supply chain technology experience to GreyOrange, most recently as the CEO of Ally Commerce, an e-commerce service provider for brand manufacturers.
He also spent 12 years as an executive in Accenture’s Supply Chain Strategy Practice as well as 13 years as SVP of Business Development at supply chain solution provider Manhattan Associates.
Cashman holds a B.A. in Economics and Management Information Systems from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Terrie O'Hanlon, Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at GreyOrange, is responsible for global brand positioning and drives the Company’s overall marketing direction and plans. She leads collaborative cross-functional teams, including external partners, across multiple geographies.
Previously O’Hanlon has driven marketing strategy as CMO for leading companies in both emerging and established markets, including supply chain, financial ecommerce, healthcare, enterprise applications and cybersecurity. Her supply chain experience includes orchestrating a successful brand transformation for Manhattan Associates, a global leader in supply chain commerce, inventory optimization and omnichannel solutions. She sits on the Board of Directors for Revved Up Kids, a US non-profit dedicated to the safety of children.
Terrie holds an MBA in Marketing from Columbia University, New York, and a BS in Journalism from the University of Florida.
A technology executive with proven leadership and strong performance in sales, operations, general management, financial management, strategic planning and marketing in the material handling automation and supply chain logistics industries. Barber is a growth focused leader with extensive experience in developing sales operations and implementation teams, managing a P&L and optimizing processes. Throughout his career, he has used the creative application of technology to solve business problems and has consistently delivered positive results for both the customers and the shareholders he represents.
Barber holds a Bachelor of Science in Technology from the University of Houston. In his last role before joining the GreyOrange team, he was Regional Vice President at Honeywell Intelligrated, where he was responsible for sales and delivery operations and accountable for the financial performance of the southern regional team. His experience spans sales, pre-sales, admin, system design/pricing, engineering, project management, customer service and strategic marketing.
A seasoned technology business leader, with 31 years of experience in high end systems and services. He holds an M.A. “cum laude” in sociology, political science and philosophy from Saarland University, Germany.
In his previous role, he founded and led Storm Reply, a cloud services company with operations in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Before that he was Country MD Germany, Austria and Eastern Europe (Assistant VP) for Cognizant and Head of Strategy for EMEA. In this role he managed a 2000 (offshore and onshore) strong team and $240 million revenue.
As VP and Regional CEO for EMEA, he is leading GreyOrange in EMEA and is responsible for growing GreyOrange’s presence in that region along with additional responsibility of South America.
Sid Chatterjee is Vice President, Products at GreyOrange, responsible for defining product strategy and investment, Go To Market plans, competitive analysis, business planning and strategic pricing. He also leads product design and partner success functions. Prior to this, he was associated with Sabre Airline Solutions as a Director of Product Management as well as IBM in a variety of roles.
Sid holds an MBA from University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and Master of Science in Computer Science from North Carolina State University.
As Vice President of Engineering, he leads the R&D efforts across product lines at GreyOrange to deliver quality products built on cutting-edge technology. Manpreet is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in the Technology Industry.
In his previous roles, Manpreet was the Vice President of Engineering where he led the development of infrastructure of a global video entertainment platform with close to 35 million monthly users. Prior to that, he was the Assistant Vice President of Engineering handling AI-enabled network systems for digital transformation of businesses, and the Director of R&D at a global telecom infrastructure provider.
Manpreet holds a Bachelors in Computer Science of Technology from IT BHU.
Gautam oversees the entire cycle of operations at GreyOrange including the Assembly Plant, Installation Projects & Customer Support functions.
With 13 years of cross functional experience in eCommerce, Technology & Consulting domains in a variety of industries; across India, US & Europe; he also brings with him deep entrepreneurial experience of global best practices in setting up & scaling unstructured startups to data & process driven organisations. Apart from running his own food tech venture, he was also a founding team member at Jabong (Rocket Internet) and led Marketing & Business Intelligence at Goibibo (Naspers) through a 10x growth phase.
He holds a B.Tech in Aerospace Engineering from IIT Kharagpur with an MBA in Strategy & Finance from ISB Hyderabad. He also has a Harvard executive program on eCommerce by Naspers.
K. Subramanian, Vice President of People Operations, is responsible for fostering a culture at GreyOrange that inspires hard work, motivates achievement and continues to feel like a thriving start-up as the company grows.
Passionate about bringing, keeping and unleashing the best talent at GreyOrange, he is motivated to improve the candidate and employee experience, as well as integrate the various groups and regions within GreyOrange’s vast geographic spread into a cohesive company culture.
Subramanian brings more than 20 years of experience in HR to this role, having previously led HR teams globally at world-leading tech and internet companies including Amazon, Microsoft and IBM. Subramanian has a relentless zeal to hire great talent and raise the bar with each new employee.
Subramanian holds a master’s degree from the School of Social Work at DG Vaishnav College, a university focused on organizational behavior and personnel management.
